In a notable showcase of innovation, we proudly presented our first research prototype at the International Robotics Summit held in Boston in May. The fortuitous opportunity to exhibit under the Mass Robotics umbrella added a distinct dimension to Glidance's participation, allowing the company to garner attention and recognition on a global stage. This collaborative platform provided a unique spotlight for our early research prototype of Glide, and also facilitated valuable connections and interactions within the vibrant community of robotics enthusiasts and industry leaders.

Amos Miller is the Founder and CEO of Glidance. Since losing his sight in his 20s due to a genetic eye condition, Amos has understood first-hand the challenges the low-vision community faces. He has committed his career to breaking down barriers for this community. As Chairman of the Board at Guide Dogs for the Blind (UK) and a former product executive at Microsoft Research—where he founded Microsoft’s Soundscape navigation app, which has since helped countless people navigate the world around them—Amos is recognized as a pioneer in the field. His belief in and dedication to Glide is about more than just a tool for getting from point to point. They are about empowering the low-vision community by unlocking a greater sense of freedom, independence, and autonomy in navigating the world.
