Glide is Featured on NBC's Today Show!
July 14, 2026
We thought we’d have a few quiet weeks to settle in after an incredible close to 2024—but it seems the universe had other plans!
We’re beyond excited to share that Glidance has been selected as one of NBC's The Today Show’s Most Favorite Products from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025. The segment, hosted by Today Show Tech Expert Katie Lindall, aired at 8:50am ET on Thursday, January 16th, 2025. You can view the segment here!
How did this happen? Out of over 100,000 gadgets and gizmos present at CES, the Today Show producers just happened to walk by our booth - and they weren't attracted by flashy marketing or big PR stunts, but instead by seeing Gliders. Real people from the blind and low vision community, confidently navigating the crowded CES halls and putting Glide's autonomous capabilities to the test in real time. They felt the energy, the impact, and the heart of what we’re building, and they knew it was something special.
While we’re incredibly grateful, this moment isn’t just about Glide. This is about all of us. It’s your support, your energy, and your belief in our mission that made this possible. The success of Glidance isn’t just measured by the product we’ve built, but by the movement we’ve created.
This was a remarkable our chance to show the world the power of community, the need for more accessible technology and innovation, and the incredible things that can happen when people come together to create change. This moment gives all of us a voice—a moment to be heard, celebrated, and empowered.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!
