BBC Journalists Take Glide for a Spin!

July 14, 2026

During our visit to the 40th CSUN Assistive Technology conference in Anaheim, California, the Glidance team was lucky enough to spend some time with two world renowned BBC Journalists - Emma Tracy and Gary O'Donoghue.

Emma Tracy is the host of BBC's Access All, a weekly disability and mental health podcast. Gary is BBC's Chief North America Correspondent, who was recently awarded the Royal Television Society Breaking News Award for their coverage of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Aside from being veteran reporters, Emma and Gary are also both blind, and were excited to give Glide's latest prototype a try for themselves.

They shared their initial impressions, alongside an interview with Glidance's Founder Amos Miller on BBC Radio 4's "In Touch" Program hosted by Peter White.
